The Mead of Poets has a hilarious reason for how poor poets were (because they ate the mead that came out of Odin’s ass). To get what they want, they lie and steal. I like how these stories portray the gods’ humanity.

Picking favorite stories from the series is difficult. The characters, on the other hand, are realistically drawn and make you want to learn more about them. This may be because I’m new to these northern stories. The gods have different names, which I found a little perplexing. Some tales are brief, while others are lengthy. The book concludes with tales that lead to the final destruction of Asgard, the Gods’ domain. Gaiman begins his book with the apotheosis of Odin, the beginning of the myth cycle. After that, we’ll move on to the stories of various characters. The first few pages are a little tedious because they include an introduction to Asgard, the world of Norse mythology-we’re mostly bombarded with new titles, gods’ equipment, and so on. Freya is the lovely lady with a mind of her own. Loki is a master manipulator who sometimes offends the gods with his shenanigans.

Thor, his son, is the most powerful, wielding Mjollnir, a hammer forged by dwarfs. Odin is the gods’ lord, highest and oldest. In his Norse Mythology, these are also the three main characters. The worlds of Thor, Loki, and Odin are popular thanks to Marvel.
